We would like to inform you about the PASIFIC Fellowship Programme, a particularly attractive funding opportunity for female researchers, in case you are interested.
The Polish Academy of Sciences launched the PASIFIC Fellowship Programme co-financed by the European Commission under the MSCA COFUND scheme. Its main goal is to enable 50 scientists of any nationality, with a doctoral degree or 4-year full-time research experience, to spend two years at one of the Polish Academy of Sciences institutes.
The PASIFIC fellows will be selected in two calls announced in 2021: the first one is now open! You can submit your application, until 30 June 2021 (the link to the proposal submission system will be available on this website on 1 April 2021 at 2:00 PM, at the very latest).
The PASIFIC Fellowship Programme aims to reach the greatest possible number of outstanding researchers representing all scientific disciplines including STEM and ICT. Furthermore, to ensure adequate representation of male and female researchers, they promote the PASIFIC among various – national and European – organisations supporting women in academia. The Programme offers direct benefits such as family allowance or the 18-month extension (for each child) of the required period of past 5 years from which the scientific achievements should be presented in the application form. Particular attention is also paid to the gender balance among experts evaluating the proposals.
