The general objective of this cicle of 5 lectures is to promote a debate in Barcelona about the link between the intercultural approach with the cultural policy and diversity, identifying the basic topics, main practices and actions, following an analysis in three levels: cultural institutions, main actors of civil society, and citizenship. The concrete objective is to propose some actions and recommendations for Barcelona.

  • 9th, December: Taula rodona: Explorant enfocaments pràctics de foment de la interculturalitat a través de projectes culturals. Ferran Morillas (Director of QADAR produccions culturals), Mónica Medina (Director of Sagrada Familia Library-Josep M. Ainaud de Lasarte), Tania Adam (Founder and Director of radio Africa Magazine and Safura).
  • 11th, December: Taula rodona: Examinant Barcelona en perspectiva: (inter)cultura i diversitat. Jordi Pascual (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya-UOC), Jordi Baltà (U40 “Cultural Diversity 2030” and member of Group of Experts of UE-UNESCO about cultural policy in developed conuntries), Lluís Bonet (University of Barcelona)
